We welcome applications from students from diverse backgrounds, including Māori, Pacific and Disabled people that will enrich our understanding of the education system. We know there are many different pathways in education. Your academic grades aren't the be-all and end-all. We're looking for fresh ideas and diverse perspectives, as well as an ability to learn from your mistakes, take initiative and communicate effectively.
While you do need to have completed at least one year of tertiary study, we're looking to see what makes you unique. We don't expect our interns to have previous work experience or knowledge about the education sector, but we would love to hear about what sets you apart. Tell us about any voluntary or community work that you have done, any leadership experience that you have and any languages that you speak. Anything that makes you stand out.
