Experience Wellington is a registered charity established by Wellington City Council as a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO) to manage and develop its cultural and arts visitor experiences. We run six extraordinary visitor experiences: Capital E, Space Place at Carter Observatory, City Gallery Wellington, Nairn Street Cottage, Wellington Museum and the Cable Car Museum. We also support the operation of the New Zealand Cricket Museum and Hannah Playhouse.
Capital E is a not-for-profit organisation that ignites and fuels the spark of creativity in children and young people through digital workshops, live performance and events.
The Marketing Coordinator needs to have strong administration skills and will be a social media whizz capable of communicating via multiple digital platforms to our varied audiences. This role will take part in exciting initiatives and will make a meaningful difference in the implementation of Capital E marketing.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Creating social media plans and updating platforms with engaging news and content
Assisting with marketing administration and events
Assisting with publicity plans across various media channels
Help us get in touch with schools and early childhood educators
Provide overall support for the marketing team.
The successful applicant will be able to get stuck in right away and will understand the importance of creativity for children and young people. This is a fixed-term part-time position of 20 hours per week, until 31 March 2020, with flexibility to meet business requirements.
