About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi


You’ll be reporting to the Senior Manager of LifeKeepers – Suicide Prevention and be a vital part of Le Va’s operational leadership team. 

You will be supporting and providing oversight of projects within the LifeKeepers – Suicide Prevention team. This includes being responsible for operations, reporting, and the overall design, development, and implementation of programme activities.

This is a full-time position. You will be working Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5pm. Our office is based at Harakeke House, Manukau.

You will be an inspiring and energetic leader with the right skills, knowledge, and experience to support the LifeKeepers programme through the design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.

You will have exceptional relationship and communication skills that allow you to manage high-level external stakeholder engagements and foster collaborations across Aotearoa.

Essential:

  • Relevant post-graduate tertiary qualification

  • Five plus years’ experience in project management

  • Expert level experience in project-management and time-management skills, including strong computer skills

  • Flexibility to travel nationally with ease

  • In-depth knowledge, skills and experience of working with Māori communities

  • Demonstrable practice of te Tiriti o Waitangi principles

  • Current full, clean NZ driver’s license.

Preferred

  • Relevant Post-Graduate Tertiary Qualification in health-related field.

  • A high level of te reo me ōna tikanga Māori competency.
