About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga 

This is a full-time, permanent position. 

You will be based in the Lower Hutt Office and will be part of a large Wellington Regional Team supporting the Manager Business Support to manage and coordinate the business support services in the Wellington region. 

Salary range: $65,801- $79,195 per annum + 3% kiwi saver.  The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

  • Previous experience providing administrative/ coordination support to a busy team

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines effectively

  • Advanced Microsoft skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • A can-do attitude and a great sense of humour

  • A full New Zealand Drivers licence

  • The ability and willingness to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.

 

 

About our group and team | Mātau rōpū ake 

Te Mahau | Te Tai Runga provides leadership and integrated services to the education sector and others. This includes learning support; education advice and regulation functions for schools and early learning services; and advice and support with curriculum. We also share practice and learnings collaboratively with other Te Mahau and Ministry groups to support insights driven guidance, design, and policy. 

We work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, expertise, and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.
