Starting Salary: $ 83,195.00 to $ 97,876.00 + superannuation

The role | Te tūnga 

We have a fixed term, Insights Analyst opportunity available in our Optimisation Performance & Development team with flexibility to work in our Christchurch, Wellington or Auckland offices, or work remotely.  

Reporting to the Manager - Performance & Analytics, as an Insights Analyst, you'll be responsible for the delivery of action-orientated assessment to inform strategic and operational decision making.  

This role would suit someone who can bring: 

  • Proven ability to analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes. 

  • Strong analytical skills and a talent for telling meaningful stories with data. 

  • Experience applying structured assessment frameworks (e.g. findings, implications, recommendations). 

  • Familiarity with R, Power BI, SQL, or other statistical and data visualisation tools. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, action-oriented insights. 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines. 

  • Strong team-working skills, personal resilience, and the confidence to build effective relationships. 

  • Demonstrated customer-centric approach and stakeholder engagement. 

  • Willingness to learn and build knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, tikanga, te reo Māori, and te ao Māori.
