About Te Ara Teatea
Te Ara Teatea is a charitable trust and Rongoā Māori Whare Hauora. We exist to uplift the wellbeing of our people and communities through mātauranga Māori, connection to te taiao, and practices that honour the Wairua, Hinengaro and Tinana. Our Whare Hauora is a sanctuary for transformation, and a growing centre for healing, learning, and collective growth.
The Whare Hauora has grown organically from the demand from the community for Rongoaa Māori in Ōtautahi. While the foundations have been laid over the last five years we are now seeking a Pouwhakahaere - general manager to join the whanau and guide Te Ara Teatea Whare Hauora to its next expansive phase.
Te Ara Teatea is looking for someone who can bring their own passion and experience to grow the kaupapa’s vision as Rongoaa Māori continues to weave within the mainstream health systems. By building strong relationships with ease, holding seamless operational abilities and upholding the mana of the kaupapa and people we serve.
