We have the opportunity for a Training Advisor to join the TEC. The purpose of this role is to responsible for training both new and existing Customer Contact Team (CCT) members to support service excellence for our customers through specialised and targeted team training sessions. The Training Lead creates (write), designs, and delivers training to the CCT. In some cases, this role may be required to be involved in developing, designing, and facilitating organisational wide training delivery. 

He angitūtanga: What will you be doing?

The role will involve a combination of coordinating and the scheduling of training along with, creating, designing, and leading training for the CCT team. It will focus on:

·         Training/learning material creation: Supporting and leading the creation and design of learner centred training, based on adult learning, e learning modules, teaching, and facilitation principles for the CCT.

·         Supporting the writing and leading the preparation of the training needs analysis, training modules, and training resources  

·         Training facilitation:  Managing the training Calendar and delivering training aligned with TEC strategy and business needs. Meeting training plan service targets set in conjunction with the Team Manager Relationship Support 

·         Training coordination: Reviewing, updating, and preparing resources for training sessions; Scheduling and booking of resources (room, speakers, staff); co-ordinating and recording attendance, training evaluation, lessons learned and supporting continuous improvement of training programs, induction, roadshow, and resources. 

He kōrero mōu: What will you bring to the role? 

·       Proven experience in designing and developing training programmes and collateral - training modules, learner handbooks, learner resources, learning outline for leaders.

·       Proven experience in group training facilitation - face to face, group, remotely.

·       Experience in project managing the overlay of customer centric lens across the training framework for the new incoming projects and processes. 

·       Experienced at classroom, remote and online training, coaching, and mentoring. 

·       Proven knowledge of adult learning principals, contemporary practices, training theory, course development methodologies and models and blended learning solutions.

·       Proven experience using e-learning authoring tools is highly desirable.
