About this role | Mō tēnei tūranga
This is a permanent position within the Training Services team.
The Training Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Ministry and sector staff with their learning and development activities. This role is the first point of contact for training enquiries and provides guidance on the Learning Management System (LMS), Adobe Connect, and other learning-related technology.
You’ll support colleagues and sector staff to navigate their learning journey - including induction, compliance training, course bookings, and training prerequisites. You’ll work closely with the Training Services team and build strong relationships with staff across groups, helping ensure learning is accessible, timely, and well supported.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys service-focused work, coordinating information, and supporting others to succeed.
Salary range: $60,879 - $72,999 per annum + KiwiSaver. The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.

The Training Services team supports Ministry staff and the wider sector to access high‑quality learning and development. We manage training systems, coordinate learning programmes, and provide advice and support to help people build capability and meet learning requirements.
