Kaitautoko Whakarite – Administration Support (Porirua)

Join Te Āhuru Mōwai, the largest Māori-owned Community Housing Provider in Aotearoa, and help us provide warm, dry, safe homes for whānau.

We’re looking for a friendly, organised and community-minded person to be the welcoming face of our office and support our team with day-to-day administration.

About the role

You’ll be the first point of contact for tenants, whānau and visitors while keeping the office running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

  • Front desk reception and customer service

  • Answering calls, emails and enquiries

  • Maintaining accurate records and systems

  • General admin and team support

  • Helping coordinate office supplies and logistics

  • Supporting community initiatives and events

About you

  • Experience in admin, reception or customer service

  • Confident communicator (in person, phone and email)

  • Well organised with strong attention to detail

  • Warm, professional and culturally respectful

  • Comfortable working in a busy, people-focused environment

  • Te reo Māori or Pacific language skills a bonus
