Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring
You’ll have extensive knowledge of arts practice trends in Pacific Arts, including heritage and contemporary arts across diverse island cultures and communities, as well as established and credible professional Pacific Arts networks throughout Aotearoa and in a range of artforms and diverse Pasifika communities.
You’ll have excellent communication skills, with an affinity for building and maintaining relationships and you’ll have the willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally to attend sector events as necessary. Demonstrable experience in providing high level strategic advice and recommendations leading to a direct impact on an organisation’s operations and processes is vital, while a qualification in an arts-related discipline, (or equivalent experience), is desirable. As you’ll be working alongside a Pacific Arts Practice Adviser, you will need to have proven experience in a leadership role within the sector.
