Marketing Advisor (Fixed Term 12-months)

We're looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Advisor with campaign delivery experience to join our Marketing team.

This is a fixed term for 12-months through to October 2026 to backfill parental leave based in Wellington.

Over these next 12-months, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the launch of a significant careers product (Tahatū Careers Navigator) to New Zealanders.

He angitūtanga: About the Role

Our Marketing team is part of the wider Engagement Group within the Careers & Investment Design Directorate. The Marketing Advisor supports the Marketing team in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, along with marketing campaigns and projects for internal TEC customers.

  • Develop, deliver, monitor and review marketing strategies.

  • Build strong collaborative relationships across the business/project groups to foster effective marketing planning and support.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with the internal and external stakeholders to assist with any marketing requirements.

  • Provide trusted marketing advice on marketing to senior leaders and staff.

As this is a fixed-term role, we are seeking an experienced Advisor with thorough and up to date understanding of marketing best practice who can come into the role and ‘hit the ground running' to deliver.

  • Experience successfully delivering marketing campaigns across a range of channels.

  • Experience working with external creative and media agencies.

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to project manage and multi-task.

  • Ideally you will have experience working in the public sector and a fast paced environment

  • Ability to form and maintain relationships quickly across all levels of the organisation.

The salary range for this position starts from $80,076 up to $94,207 + 3% KiwiSaver depending on demonstrable skills and experience.
